A term that ends when your search does.
No contract, and no cut-down version of the site for less money. There is one build and everybody gets the same one. The only decisions after that are how long you expect to be looking, and whether you want to keep reshaping the site once it is up.
The build
Less than a professional headshot, and your domain is included.
Paid once, by card when you order, together with your first hosting term. This is the whole cost of getting the site designed, built, and live at your own address.
The smallest first payment is $124: the build plus three months of hosting. Everything after that is hosting only.

Then hosting
Pick the term that matches your search.
Hosting covers the domain renewal, the server, and unlimited small edits for as long as you are subscribed. Each term renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. Longer terms cost less per month, and every term comes in two plans.

Unlimited changes.
Standard hosting covers small edits forever, and reshaping the site itself for the first week. On this plan that never expires. Want the whole thing rebuilt around a career change eighteen months from now? A new section, a different layout, a fresh look? Ask, and it is included for as long as you are hosted with us.
One change at a time, and we may space out requests that arrive together. Everything else stays as it is: same build fee, same 72 hours, cancel whenever you like.
Know someone else job hunting?
Once you have a site with us you can have a referral code. Whoever uses it gets an extra month of hosting free, on top of the launch offer. Every three people you send whose sites go live earns you a free hosting term on your own site. Get a code, it takes about twenty seconds.
The terms are short on purpose
A job hunt ends. When it does, your hosting should be able to end with it. That is why the shortest term is three months instead of a year: if you land something in week six, you are not still paying for this next spring.
Hosting renews automatically, so your site never drops offline in the middle of a search. When you land something, cancel in a couple of clicks at resumeinsite.com/manage. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and no phone call where somebody talks you out of it. The site stays up to the end of the term you already paid for, you are never charged again, and we hand the domain over to you on the way out.
If you would rather keep the site running, it stops being a job hunt page and starts being your page.
Included while subscribed
What counts as a small edit.
This is the part that makes the subscription worth keeping. You email the change, we make it, usually the same day on weekdays. There is no limit on how often.
Small edits, included
- A new role, a promotion, or a title change
- An updated resume PDF
- A new project, portfolio piece, or writing sample
- A different photo, or a video swapped in
- A new colour palette or a different typeface
- Sections put in a different order
- Changed links, email, or contact details
- Typos and wording tweaks, however small
Quoted separately
- A full redesign, or a change to the layout or navigation
- Extra pages, or a section the site has no layout for
- Extra features like a blog, a booking form, or a store
- Us writing new content for you, rather than laying out yours
The rule, for anything not on either list: if it can be done by editing the site as it stands, it is included. If it needs a new page, a new section, a different layout, or something the site cannot currently do, we quote it. How long it takes us does not come into it. We will always tell you the price before doing any of it, and tell you when you do not actually need it.
The fine print, in plain words
About your domain.
We register it and manage it for you, in our name, so you never have to deal with a registrar or remember a renewal date.
We are saying that plainly rather than burying it, because it is your name on that domain and you should know exactly who is holding it. If you ever cancel, we transfer the domain to you and you take over the renewal from there. It is yours and it leaves with you. That is the whole arrangement.
Refunds.
Change your mind in the first 24 hours and you get everything back, no questions asked, as long as your site is not live yet. There is no deduction and no fee for the work already done.
Two things close that window. One is the 24 hours running out. The other is your site going live, which ends it early if we get there first, because at that point the thing you paid for has been built and handed over. We email you the day it goes live and that email says so, so you always know which side of the line you are on. If something on the site is wrong after that, you do not need a refund: say so and we change it, for as long as you are hosted with us. Hosting is separate and you can stop it whenever you like.
Hosting is not refunded once a term has started, and that includes renewals. We email you 15 days before each renewal, so there is time to cancel first. Cancel and your site stays up to the end of the term you already paid for, and you are never charged again.
