A PDF is a dead end.
A link is not.
Resume Insite exists because the document everyone is asked for is the worst possible version of a person, and almost nobody has the time or the inclination to build the better one themselves.
A resume gets attached to an email, run through a filter that is looking for keywords rather than people, and skimmed for six seconds by someone with forty more to get through. It cannot show your work. It cannot be updated once it is sent. It looks like every other resume, because it is formatted the way resumes are formatted.
A link does none of that. It puts a page in front of a person, it shows the work instead of describing it, and it is still correct next month because somebody keeps it correct. That is the whole idea, and it is not a new one. Designers and developers have had personal sites for years. Most other people never got one because building it was the hard part.
So we do that part. You send the resume, we build the site, and you go back to the actual job hunt.
How we work
Four things we will not do.
Hand you a template
An engineer, a new graduate, and an artist need different things in front of a recruiter. If the layout would work just as well for somebody else, it is not doing its job.
Make you maintain it
There is no dashboard and nothing to learn. You email the change and we make it, usually the same day. That is the difference between a site that stays current and one that goes stale in a month.
Lock you in
The shortest term is three months because job hunts end. No cancellation fee, no notice period, and the domain goes with you when you leave.
Inflate your experience
We shape what you send so it reads well on a screen. We will not invent work you did not do. If it is unclear, we ask you instead of guessing.
